Carole Topin is an interior architect and designer with a multidisciplinary background in interior architecture and furniture design. She has developed a strong expertise in high-end hospitality and residential projects across Europe, collaborating on hotels, private residences, and refined living spaces.
Her approach combines a sensitive understanding of materials and proportions with a strong attention to detail, allowing her to create elegant and functional environments. Her international experience brings a contemporary yet timeless perspective to every project.
SANDRINE DUPÉ
Brings a clear, experience-driven approach shaped by commercial architecture.
Based in Paris, Sandrine Dupé spent 17 years working within a renowned architecture agency before founding her own practice. She has since developed a solid expertise in commercial architecture, with a portfolio spanning restaurants, retail spaces, and corporate dining environments.
Her work is driven by a deep understanding of spatial identity and user experience, translating each project into a coherent and distinctive narrative. She brings structure, precision, and a strong conceptual approach to every intervention.
THE STUDIO
A dialogue between two practices united by a shared vision of space.
Carole and Sandrine first met over 20 years ago during their Master’s degree in Interior Architecture at the Académie Charpentier. Despite following different professional paths, their careers have always remained in dialogue, strengthening a natural complementarity between their approaches.
In 2023, after years of exchange and shared inspiration, they founded Variation Studio. This collaboration allows them to combine their expertise while continuing to develop their individual practices, working on projects across Europe that range from hospitality and residential to commercial architecture.
Together, they create a balance between creativity and precision, intuition and structure—shaping spaces that are both meaningful and enduring.
